Don't be fooled by the hot August weather, fall and annual enrollment is just around the corner. During annual enrollment, be sure to take advantage of the several tools and resources that can help you get the most for every dollar you spend on health care.
New Tool Helps Estimate Prescription Costs
The new BMC/Medco Rx Estimator makes it easy to estimate annual prescription drug costs under the Aetna PPO and HSA medical plans. With the new tool, you enter your maintenance prescriptions and/or other medications your doctor might prescribe during the year and the tool calculates your out-of-pocket costs under each Aetna medical plan option.
- The Medical Expense Estimator makes it easy for you to project and compare your total annual expenses for each medical plan option—including what you'll pay up front and what you're likely to pay out-of-pocket during the year. It's a great way to avoid buying extra coverage you won't use.
- The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Estimator helps you add up your eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses so you can estimate your potential tax savings if you sign up for a Health Care FSA.
- The Health Savings Account (HSA) Calculator helps you estimate your savings needs for out-of-pocket health care expenses if you enroll in the Aetna HSA medical plan.
