Complete the bWell Survey and You Could Win an iPad!
Whatever your health goals, the BMC bWell programs can help you get there. To help you achieve your specific health and wellness goals, we’d like to learn about your interest in wellness – physical fitness, healthy eating, stress management and more. We want to hear your thoughts and ideas on how to provide you with programs, seminars, activities and information that interest you and meet your needs.
Please help us by taking a few minutes to complete this quick and easy online wellness survey. The survey is voluntary and mainly multiple choice. To say thank you for your time, you’ll receive 50 bWell points for completing the survey by Monday, April 23, and you can enter a drawing for an Apple iPad!
Still Time Left to Get a Screening, Earn 500 bWell Points
If you couldn’t attend an on-site screening in February or March, there’s still time to get a free health screening. Here’s how:
1. Download a physician fax form (PDF) to take to your primary care physician, or
2. Download a LabCorp form (PDF) to take to your local LabCorp facility.
Completing the online Well-Being Assessment and getting a screening are required activities for the 2015 bWell program. These activities are each worth 500 points. When you complete both, you earn 1,000 points toward the 5,000 bWell point goal!
bWell Program Update
Game on! Close to 1,400 of you have signed up for bWell 2015 to date. While we’re only two months into the program, the participation stats are impressive. As of March 19:
- 5% have reached Level 2 – Making Strides – by racking up 3,000 points!
- 72% have completed an online Well Being Assessment
- 64% have completed a health screening
- Hydrate! Challenge participants consumed 1,304,447 ounces of water, enough to fill 340 average sized bathtubs! Congratulations to the top three teams: On Demand San Jose – 49,491 ozs.; San Jose Chai Team – 36,781 ozs.; and OSC – 35,806 ozs.
- VegOut Challenge participants consumed 18,339 servings of vegetables and fruits.
Challenge Anyone?
We’re looking for fun, creative ideas for local challenges — activities that engage your co-workers in becoming happier, healthier, and more energetic. Watch the BMC Corporate Benefits – U.S. Chatter group in April and submit your challenge suggestions. You’ll earn 10 bWell points for each suggestion. If we select your idea, you’ll earn another 100 bWell points!
