Have you completed your Well Being Assessment? Important deadline near!

If you haven't completed the Well Being Assessment (WBA)™ on mybmcwellness.com, you should do so before June 1 to give you enough time to complete your coaching or online wellness activities by the July 31 program deadline. Completing the WBA is easy and should only take about 20-25 minutes of your time. Log on to mybmcwellness.com and follow the prompts to complete your assessment.

If you did not participate in the onsite screenings you can order a physician form or home access kit to complete your biometric screening requirement. You will earn $300 off your 2014 premiums by completing your WBA and biometric screening before the deadline and you'll learn where you stand with your health.

But why stop there? You can earn another $300 discount if your spouse/domestic partner completes their WBA and biometric screening or if you complete other wellness activities, including coaching or additional online surveys.

Act now so you don't miss out. Get details about the incentive and deadlines.

Be Well and Save Money With Aetna Discounts

If you've used your Aetna medical coverage this year, you'll want to visit the Aetna Navigator® website to check your claims. But there are other reasons you'll want to go there, too. All Aetna health plans offer discounts on health-related products and services not typically covered by insurance — such as gym memberships, weight-loss programs, vision products, hearing aids and more. To find specific discounts, type a question in the "Ask Ann" box or look under the Health Programs tab "See the savings."

Remember, these discounts are not insurance. There are no claim forms to fill out, no coupons to clip and no limits to how often you can use the program. Just pay the discounted price directly to the vendor when you buy the product or service.

Keep Your Resolutions in 2013 – May Tip

If you've got children, it might be a good time either to get started on saving for college or to ramp up your efforts. Consider a 529 college savings plan sponsored by a state or state agency. The contribution limits are high, there are no income restrictions, and your savings grow tax free. Better still, you won't pay federal income tax when you withdraw the money to spend it on qualified higher education expenses.
