The four-week Step It Up! Challenge kicked off May 12 at BMC, with more than 700 employees strapping on a pedometer to make every step count. Participants will walk, run, swim, bike, or do whatever activity they enjoy to reach the goal of 50,000 steps a week and compete for great prizes.
Each week, the top 10 participants who track the most steps for the week online at mybmcwellness.com will win a Fitbit,® a wearable sensor that tracks your movement. Participants who track their steps online every day are eligible to win the random drawing for another 10 Fitbits awarded each week.
When the Step It Up! Challenge ends on June 8, a $250 gift card will be awarded to the top 10 participants who track the most steps during the competition. A $250 gift card will also be awarded to 10 randomly selected participants who track their steps every day and meet the weekly goal of 50,000 steps every week throughout the challenge. Weekly prize winners are also eligible to win a $250 gift card.
