Your 2016 Benefits Start Soon. Check your Elections!
The annual benefits enrollment period ended November 13, 2015. Your 2016 benefits begin January 1. Watch your home mail for your personalized statement showing the elections you actively made or defaulted to during the annual benefits enrollment. Carefully review your statement and consider the following:
- Do your 2016 benefits reflect your choices?
- Are your covered dependents listed and are their birth dates correct?
- If corrections are required, call Your Benefits Resources™ (YBR) at 877-262-4849 before December 31, 2015. Representatives are available 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., weekdays.
- The benefits you elect are effective January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 unless you have a qualified family status change during the year, like marriage, divorce or a new baby.
- If you added a new dependent to your coverage for 2016, you will need to verify your dependent’s eligibility. YBR will send you a verification request notice and package at your home address. Follow the instructions in the package and respond by the deadline.
bWell Update: Two Steps to Olympic Qualifying
As of mid-November, 49 BMCers have qualified for the 2016 bWell Olympics. Qualifiers completed the online Well Being Assessment, participated in a health screening, and received a Fitbit to track their activity! Remember, all employees are eligible to participate in the bWell Olympics. Go to mybmcwellness.com today to start your qualifying effort.
Olympians Use Coaches. Why Not You?
Even the world’s best athletes and business people have a coach. Why wouldn’t you? Coaching is provided through BMC’s wellness partner, Aduro, and is available at no cost to BMC employees participating in the bWell program.
Whether you want support in making better food choices, quitting tobacco, managing stress, exercising, finding motivation, or simply being more fully alive, bWell coaches are here for you. They won’t judge you, diagnose you, or tell you what to do. Instead, they are here to support you in finding your own best thinking and what is best for you!
If you’re ready to make a change to your health and wellness in 2016, call 888-213-7953 to set up your appointment to speak with a coach.
